Livanah has got to be one of the most laid back teenagers I have ever met, yet when it comes to academics this girl is dedicated!  And um, she is also gorgeous and soooooo photogenic:)

I have had the pleasure of coaching Liv’s two younger sisters over the past few years and can tell you that her little sisters have some big personalities. So I was very excited when their mom contacted me to get Livanah’s session in the books. Here is a girl who I haven’t gotten to know as well as her sisters and I can now say I love her just as much! There is something to be said about a girl who doesn’t think twice that she is so beautiful,  has a heart the size of Texas and who already has her sights set on her college plans.

Liv, you were a dream to photograph. No, really…you made my job so easy.  I hope you love these as much as I do and I am super excited for your next session already:)

I had so much fun working with senior reps last year that I just couldn’t wait for the program to launch again this year. Megan was one of the first to complete her application and there was no doubt in my mind that she would be a perfect selection for me. This girl is ambitious and genuine, talented and a kind soul. She was also a trooper as we took advantage of the first break in the rainy weather and quickly found out it was a tad chilly for her outfit choices. Good thing for wide apertures and digital enhancing to smooth out the goosebumps:)

Remember how I just said she was talented? Well, this quilt is the result of Megan’s handiwork. It is absolutely gorgeous and there was no way we weren’t going to include some of her own art in her senior photos. It is definitely something to be proud of!

Megan, thanks again for joining my senior rep program. You are the perfect model, both in your photogenicness (yup, made that word up!) and as a role model. I hope you love these as much as I do and I am excited to see what we can come up with for your next session:)

Hugs,

Deb

There is a saying in New England that if you don’t like the weather, just wait fifteen minutes.  And while it was a little more than fifteen minutes between sessions, it is hard to believe that it rained all through Kearsten’s session and that afternoon Courtney’s session looked like this.

And just like with Kearsten, if Courtney looks familiar she was another one of my reps this year:) For her final session she asked if we could include her boyfriend in the shots, and well since I have heard all about him I couldn’t say no. I had to meet him. Not only is Keenan a sweet guy and a great match for Court, he is also very handy when it comes to holding reflectors and demonstrating poses:)

Courtney, it was great catching up with you once again. You are an amazing girl with a focus that many your age have yet to perfect. Make this year worth every memory and may your drive to succeed take you beyond your wildest dreams <3

I have come to know Kearsten rather well over the past year, and it is bittersweet that I am now shooting her senior session since that means after next spring my kiddos will certainly be missing the best babysitter EVER! Now we had planned on shooting this session at least a month before now, but Kearsten’s boyfriend Trevor is such a HUGE part of her life and she really wanted him to be at least a small part of her session. Just a few months ago Trevor enlisted in the US Navy and we had to wait for his return for boot camp for our session. But even more special….he PROPOSED the day before our shoot <3 Regardless of how young this couple is, there is no doubt in my mind that they will continue to be head-over-heels in love with each other for the rest of their lives. It is rare to find a couple who exudes as much patience, loyalty, love and friendship as these two and I am proud and honored to be even a small part of their lives.

When I read through the applications for senior reps, I just knew I had to choose Harley. One of the questions I include in my application is what would you do with a $500 shopping spree?  Most answers tell me what brand name store they would shop at for some new clothes or some new piece of technology they have had their eye on. So, what would Harley buy…well, it is safe to say that none of that money would go to anything for herself. Nope, her cash would go to clothes for her favorite little cousins and a mini shopping spree for her dad at Cabela’s. This is not to say that all of my senior reps aren’t outgoing and some of the sweetest girls I have ever met….’cause they definitely all are!!

So,  after a long day of mini-sessions last week, I met up with Harley for her rep session in a super fun urban-esque location. Meet Harley.

Last week I headed back to Popham beach to meet up with my third senior rep of the year. I am so excited to have five completely different personalities as reps! Other than being absolutely freakin’ adorable, Kayla is sweet, kind and super creative. I mean really, how many seniors would bring their iPod along to “pose” with while listening to the Riverdance soundtrack? Unique, original and just plain fun.

Meet Kayla.

Just as with Britany, I first met Courtney when she was six years old. No, not another stepdaughter:) When I first met my husband, this blond-haired hazel-eyed beauty was his roommate’s daughter. Back then, Courtney had a sense about her that she knew exactly everything she wanted. Today, she has blossomed into a young lady who not only still knows what she wants, but she knows exactly what she needs to do to accomplish everything she sets her mind to. Courtney knows how to work hard and play hard while upholding responsibilities that many adults are still trying to figure out. There is no doubt in my mind, that she will be successful at anything she puts her mind to.

Meet Courtney.

Courtney, I am so excited to have you as a senior rep and it has been so fun seeing you grow from such a little girl to such a beautiful and level-headed young lady. I am already looking forward to your next session:)

I will never forget the first time I met her. She was six years old. She got her blonde hair and those cute squishy cheeks all from her dad. One year later, I was calling her my stepdaughter. Ten years later and I am shooting her senior pictures, missing those squishy cheeks and noticing how much her smile resembles her mother’s. And in many ways, her personality hasn’t changed one bit. She is and always has been quick witted, silly, gorgeous, a talker, quick tempered and most definitely a bit bossy. And for all those things I am so thankful that she came into my life and am so proud of the young lady she has become. Meet Britany.
