There is only one thing I love more in the world than a baby who is set up to visit the studio every three months, and that’s when a baby also happens to be a sweet little cousin. Oh yeah, extra snuggles definitely get to happen here!! Mason’s six month session felt like the fastest session ever too. He was super happy and content, and a little silly as he showed off his new i-am-going-to-try-and-stick-my-toungue-out-in-every-shot trick. But with a mama who has some seriously silly antics of her own, it really doesn’t surprise me any. And I’m willing to bet his one year/cake smash session is going to be one for the record books:)  For now, here’s a little peek at nine months…

It was only just a couple weeks after Easton’s newborn session that his mama was already planning for his six month session. His parents are big hockey fans, which is kinda how he got his name, so incorporating a little hockey love into this session was a must. Mom decided to challenge my crochet skills and I whipped up the cutest little pair of crochet hockey skates in no time. And to make things pop just a bit more, I got all creative and diy with a fun little backdrop themed around the Bruins logo colors. They also brought along dad’s hockey jerseys from high school and there was no way I was leaving that out! Easton was a champ for the most part, until he decided to turn on the cranky pants for a bit, but I’m always up for a challenge and we managed to get some pretty darned cute shots. See for yourself:)

I first met Lisa through a friend (another Lisa) I don’t know how many years ago and I instantly liked her. And then I met Keith when they hired me to take some shots at their Restaurant/Catering Co., Fiona’s. Not only are they amazing business owners, friends and a super sweet couple…they also make some delicious food! And it turns out they made some pretty awesome kids too, who then made them some of the cutest and funniest grandchildren ever. So, it only made sense that Lisa would want some photos of her crazy and fun bunch. This weekend our plan was to get the whole family together at a State Park and get this session underway, but mother nature had other plans and we worked through some sprinkles and made the backyard work all the same. After all, it isn’t always about the scenery. Great memories are made in the backyard <3 So, here are a fw of my favorites from Lisa and Keith’s extended family session….
